Jantsen is no stranger when it comes to electronic music. This Colorado native has been fully immersed in the dance music culture for over 12 years with his passion later blossoming into DJ’ing and producing. Jantsen’s strong presence in the scene comes from his eclectic sound, drawing inspiration from many genres of music including jazz, blues, funk, rock, hip hop, and an array of choice world music. He brings a style that is creative, unique, and is continuously evolving. Jantsen’s enthusiastic personality exudes during his performances, displayed by his fun, energetic, and contagious presence on stage.
El Papa Chango (aka Diego Novoa) is a Tahoe/Reno, Burning Man and West Coast festival favorite. His infectious sets, inspired by his Argentinian upbringing, fuse a hot and sexy mix of latin hip hop, cumbia, moombahton, breakbeat and island music. Oftentimes rocking sunset and sunrise sets, El Papa Chango is one of the finest djs and tastemakers on the west coast. This is his first set in Tahoe in almost two years since playing with The Glitch Mob in the same venue. This is a very special set that The Bounce and Fresh Bakin’ are really excited to bring to Tahoe again. El Papa Chango is simply not to be missed.
Pumpkin is the special character that has brought festival attendees across the West Coast to their knees. He is the music producer and curator behind the Wandering Marionettes and their eclectic event, Kabinet Theatre, as well as member of the famed Los Angeles collective POCKET Underground. By embracing all moods and genres, Pumpkin's remixes and DJ sets have been known to inspire lust, love and laughter. Tactfully walking the thin line between hip-grinding rhythms and bittersweet lyrical melodies, Pumpkin truly loves every song he shares with the dancefloor. Who can forget Pumpkin’s two sets at this summer’s Bounce Festival? Certainly a fan favorite!
Rounding out this very eclectic and awe-inspiring line-up is Bass Heavy (ft Zeb Early and AUX) and micah j. Bass Heavy's bass-laden ragga and hip hop rhythms have been captivating Tahoe bass fans across the North Shore. Through their Bass Heavy Wednesdays and Boom Boom Lagoon parties, the local scene is sure to be present for their town favorites.
Bounce-O-Ween is an 18+ event at the Cal Neva Resort in Crystal Bay occurring on Saturday, October, 29th. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Music begins at 10pm and ends LATE.
